Mr. John Ainsworth, president, Air Navigation Data has announced the launch of its new Final Approach Airspace Design and Development Module. Airspace planners now have a dedicated tool to design, edit and view airspace. The Airspace Design and Development Module product revolutionizes the way in which airspace is managed. With increasing airspace complexity as a result of higher aircraft densities, coupled with the need to reduce aircraft sector times and, to lower pollution, better management and more precise airspace is essential. Now airspace can be created and edited with precision, filtered by type, class, altitude, viewed in 2d and 3d viewers in conjunction with aeronautical data. Reports are generated automatically showing entire airspace description or just the changes made between cycles.
